You know what? I almost walked past Sierpes 54 the first time I was looking for it – the entrance is pretty understated for a place that turns out to be this polished inside. But honestly, that’s kind of perfect because you’re literally on one of Seville’s most famous shopping streets without all the tourist trap vibes hitting you in the face.
The thing about staying right on Calle Sierpes is that you’re in the absolute heart of everything, but in a way that actually makes sense. I mean, you can stumble out for morning coffee and hit those little bars where locals grab their tostada con tomate, then spend the evening wandering toward the Cathedral (it’s maybe a four-minute walk) without feeling like you’re fighting crowds the whole time. The street itself gets pedestrian-only treatment, so you don’t have that constant traffic noise, though it can get pretty lively during evening paseo hours – which is honestly part of the charm if you ask me.
What really surprised me about this place was how they managed to nail that boutique hotel feel without being pretentious about it. The rooms have this clean, modern thing going on that somehow doesn’t clash with the old Seville architecture, and the beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how many places in the old town skimp on mattresses). The bathrooms are solid – good water pressure, which isn’t always a given in these historic buildings. Staff genuinely seems to know the neighborhood too, not just the obvious guidebook stuff. They pointed me toward this tiny tapas place on Calle Cuna that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of those perfect Seville moments with excellent jamón and locals arguing about football.
The location thing is real though – you’re walking distance from basically everything that matters. Plaza de Armas for day trips, the Alcázar when you want to do the tourist thing properly, all those winding streets in Santa Cruz when you want to get lost for a while. But here’s what I really appreciated: you can also just grab groceries at the Corte Inglés down the street or find a pharmacy at 10 PM without planning an expedition. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re staying in the real Seville, not some sanitized tourist bubble. The 8.5 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works the way it should, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

Great location with shops, bars and restaurants all nearby. Away from any roads so also very peaceful. Air conditioning worked well. Very clean. Perfect for our stay.

Well located, spacious and comfortable. The owner was responsive to our needs, ie the kettle did not work and it was replaced with a new one immediately.

Amazing location, small but comfortable for 3 friends traveling. The apt is on a main pedestrian street so had to walk a ways after the taxi dropped us off, fine for us though! Clear instructions for entry.
What could be improved: The hot water did not last long enough for 2 showers in a row, and there is no drying function on the washing machine. I guess this is typical in many places but being from the US we had no idea so had to travel with some wet clothes that didn't air dry all the way overnight. The main bed was verrry creaky. Spacious apartment right in The middle of the old city. It has a lift and a washing machine, both of which are useful. I especially liked how quiet it was- on a pedestrian street so no car noise.

Location was fantastic. Only problem was if you want to take a taxi back to the apartment you will be told it's not possible as it's a pedestrian area. If you ask to get dropped off at plaza nuevo you'll be able to walk the short distance to the apartment.

The location was fabulous, in the centre of the old city of Seville. We could walk in just minutes to all the important sights in this beautiful city. There were also many restaurants nearby.
Our accomodation was spacious and bright, with a lovely living area and separate bedroom. The kitchenette was a bonus.
The bathroom was also large with a nice shower and plenty of hot water.
Our host was excellent and communicated well with us about our contactless checkin which was easy. He was very helpful with any assistance we needed.
We would recommend this accommodation.
