You know what surprised me most about Sol Suite Apartment? It’s actually quiet. I mean, you’re literally on Calle Sol in the heart of Seville’s old town – I was expecting tourist chaos 24/7, but the apartment sits back from the main drag just enough that you get this peaceful bubble while still being steps from everything that matters.

The garden is what really sells this place, honestly. It’s not huge or anything, but there’s something magical about having your morning coffee surrounded by jasmine and orange trees while the rest of Seville is still waking up. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel – the kitchen actually has proper cookware (not those flimsy tourist rental pans), and the living space has character without trying too hard. The bathroom’s modern, which I appreciated after walking around cobblestones all day, and the bedroom stays surprisingly cool even in summer thanks to thick walls and decent AC. Check-in was smooth – they actually met me at the door instead of making me hunt for some mysterious key box.

Here’s the thing about the location that booking sites don’t tell you: you’re a two-minute walk from Plaza del Salvador, which locals know is way better than the main cathedral square for actual good tapas. Plus, you can cut through the little alleyways to reach the river without dealing with the tourist bottleneck on Sierpes street. Parking’s obviously impossible right there (it’s the old town, what do you expect?), but there’s a decent public garage about five minutes away near Plaza de Armas. The 8.3 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done and the garden genuinely makes it special. I’d actually stay here again, which says something because I usually like trying new places. Just book early if you’re coming during Semana Santa or the April fair – this kind of spot with outdoor space fills up fast when everyone wants to escape the crowds.

    Good location in a quiet area but still close to good restaurants and bars, not far from city centre so easy to get around. Comfortable beds and nice terrace.

    Tha apartment was well located with a lovely big outside space. Close to the train station – we arrived by train, and a short walk to convenience stores or into the commercial centre. Clean and comfortable, with everything you need.

    What could be improved: There was a bit of a 'drain' smell in the whole locality when we were there, not just in the apartment.
