Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of Seville hotels, but Sol y Luna de Triana hit different – and honestly, it’s all about that location on Pelay Correa. You’re right in the heart of Triana, which means you’re actually living like a local instead of being stuck with all the tour groups in the city center. I mean, you can walk to the cathedral and all that in about ten minutes, but here’s the thing – you’ll probably end up spending most of your evenings just wandering around the neighborhood because there’s this incredible energy once the sun goes down.

The hotel itself feels like someone took a traditional Andalusian building and updated it without killing its soul, you know? The rooms have this perfect balance of old-world charm and modern comfort – think exposed brick walls but with AC that actually works (crucial in Seville summers, trust me). What really got me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re surrounded by some of the city’s best tapas bars. The staff clearly knows the area inside and out; they pointed me toward this tiny ceramics workshop around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise. And speaking of finding things – the hotel’s entrance is a bit tucked away, so don’t panic if you walk past it the first time. I did, and so did the couple I saw checking in after me.

Here’s what makes this place worth the four-star rating: it’s got that sweet spot pricing where you’re not paying tourist-trap money, but you’re also not sacrificing comfort. The breakfast is actually good (I’m talking proper jamón ibérico, not hotel mystery meat), and they serve it until a reasonable hour because they get that people come to Seville to stay up late. You’ll hear the Giralda bells in the morning, but they’re distant enough to be charming rather than jarring. The neighborhood comes alive around 9 PM – locals heading out for dinner, the sound of conversation spilling from bars, maybe some impromptu flamenco if you’re lucky. It’s that authentic Seville experience you’re hoping for but can never quite plan. Plus, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Triana market, which opens early and has the best coffee in the area. Well, tied with the place next to the hotel, but that’s a debate for another day.

  The apartment is clean and efficient. It is two blocks’ walk from a city street with the river just on the other side.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is on a narrow alley with no temporary parking available. Commercial parking is a few blocks away. f you are driving you have to get your things out and into the foyer and move the vehicle promptly or you will obstruct traffic. The apartment is one floor up and the stairs are manageable but not generously wide.

  Apartment #3 on the 1st floor in front of a beautiful facade with local azulejos.
  The place is very welcoming and comfortable. It was an absolute pleasure returning to the apartment after a long day walking and discovering the city.
  I felt very safe and enjoyed my two nights on the comfy bed.
  The apartment is cosy and fully equipped with everything you may need for a short or long stay. Extra pillows and blankets, fully equipped kitchen with even a washing machine and coffe machine with delicious Lotus biscuits and coffee.
  The owner was very responsive and quick on answering my questions. She checked on me throughout my stay.
  I appreciated the luggage storage access.
  Triana is a lovely neighborhood.
  Highly recommended. I'd use it again.
  
  What could be improved: The main door of the building is noisy and heavy to open but that wasn't a big issue though.
