Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Stylish and wide- 3Bdr 3Bth- Los Remedios,” I thought it sounded more like an Airbnb listing than a proper hotel. But actually stepping into this place on Avenida de la República Argentina? Completely different story. It’s tucked right in the heart of Los Remedios, which honestly is one of those neighborhoods that locals love but tourists somehow miss – you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Isabel II Bridge (locals call it Puente de Triana), and you can smell the orange blossoms from the tree-lined streets when you open the windows in spring. The whole setup feels more like staying in a really well-appointed apartment than a hotel room, which I mean, some people might find weird, but I actually loved it. You get these massive spaces – and I’m talking genuinely wide, not just “wide for Europe” – with three full bathrooms, which is honestly a game-changer when you’re traveling with family or friends who take forever to get ready.

What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being so close to everything. You know how Seville can get pretty intense with the street noise, especially during Feria season? Well, this part of Los Remedios has this residential feel where you hear kids playing in the courtyards and maybe some flamenco guitar drifting from a neighbor’s balcony, but none of that motorbike-at-3am chaos you get closer to the cathedral area. The rooms themselves have this modern Andalusian thing going on – think clean lines but with those traditional ceramic tiles that actually feel cool under your feet during the summer heat. I spent a ridiculous amount of time on the balcony just watching people walk their dogs along República Argentina, and there’s something really authentic about that rhythm. Plus, you’re close enough to walk to the Mercado de Triana for fresh produce and that incredible jamón ibérico (the vendor at the corner stall will slice it paper-thin if you ask nicely), but far enough from the tourist crowds that you can actually think straight.

The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seville, but everything just works. Check-in was smooth, the Wi-Fi didn’t cut out during my Zoom calls (which honestly can’t be said for half the places I’ve stayed), and having a proper kitchen meant I could make coffee the way I like it instead of dealing with those tiny hotel packets. If you’re planning to visit during April Fair or Holy Week, book early because this neighborhood fills up with people who know better than to stay in the touristy Santa Cruz area where you’ll pay twice as much for half the space. Just remember that Spanish dinner happens late, so don’t be surprised when the whole street comes alive around 10 PM – embrace it, grab some wine, and join the conversation.

  Great apartment for large family. Quite large balcony to fit all of us (5).
  Host welcomed us personally in front of the door.
  10 min walk to historic center (need to cross the river and you are there).
  Underground parking just in front of the apartment.

  Everything was perfect. The apartment was a great location, clean, with great communication, and easy to find with supermarkets and restaurants close by. I travelled with my father and my 4 children, and the whole experience could not have been easier. Great hosts.

  The apartment is in a good location, right next to a metro station and a grocery store. There are also good restaurants around it. The advantage is the three bedrooms with three bathrooms. The living room with the kitchen is not big, but there was enough space for all of us – 3 adults with 2 children. The terrace was nice.
  Communication with the owner was seamless and she explained everything we needed when we arrived.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment has been renovated in an old building. One bedroom, which has an internal private bathroom and toilet, can be said to not provide much intimacy. The sinks are in the room itself, and the toilet and bathroom, besides being narrow, do not achieve much intimacy with the sliding door. Maybe because it faces an inner courtyard, a strong smell of cooking came in at night. The built-in wardrobes are not functional and convenient to use. In the apartment, I guess because it is close to the river and the building is old, there was a slight feeling of dampness. In general, the apartment is a bit noisy, it is still on a busy street, but also partly because the windows do not seal well. We warned the owner that according to the instructions we should leave the keys in the apartment, but in reality we need them to open the front door of the building, so we had to open it with improvised materials when we left.
