Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places in Seville, but this loft on Calle Peral actually surprised me. You know how sometimes “stylish” just means they threw some IKEA furniture together and called it a day? Not here. The duplex setup works brilliantly – you’ve got this airy downstairs living area that feels properly spacious, then climb up to a bedroom that doesn’t make you feel like you’re sleeping in an attic. The whole place has these exposed beams and industrial touches that feel authentic, not like someone watched too many design shows.
What really sold me on the location is that you’re literally steps from the Cathedral – I mean, you can hear the bells in the morning, which sounds romantic until you realize they start pretty early. But honestly, being right in the thick of the old town means you can stumble back from dinner without worrying about taxis or late-night metro schedules. Calle Sierpes is maybe a two-minute walk, and you know how that street gets absolutely packed during the day with tourists, but from the loft you don’t hear any of that chaos. The side street location is clutch for that reason.
I was worried about parking (aren’t we all in Seville’s old town?), but there’s actually decent street parking if you’re lucky, and a public garage within walking distance if you’re not. The apartment itself has this great kitchen situation – not huge, but everything works properly and there’s enough counter space to actually prepare food if you get tired of tapas every night. Well, you probably won’t get tired of tapas, but you know what I mean. The shower pressure is solid too, which honestly feels like winning the lottery in some of these historic buildings.
One thing that struck me is how quiet it gets at night despite being so central. Maybe it’s the way the buildings are positioned, but you’re not dealing with the usual old town noise that keeps you up. During Semana Santa or Feria though – all bets are off, but that’s true anywhere in the city center. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there; it’s one of those places where all the small details just work together. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, the air conditioning actually cools the place down, and check-in was straightforward without any of that awkward “meet me at this random corner” nonsense you sometimes get with apartment rentals.

The host, Alfredo, was very friendly and supportive. We were welcomed like friends. The apartment is clean and well decorated, and there is everything needed to stay for a week.

Nicest place we’ve stayed in a long time. Excellent attention to detail, the place is beautiful and has everything you need. Alfredo met us with cold drinks and a local delicacy and he was easily accessible, quick to respond and had numerous suggestions for restaurants and activities. The location is perfect, meters from a square with bars and restaurants, but in a neighborhood where locals live. Not many tourists, but it was an easy walk to the center of the old town. You can’t go wrong staying here, we were lucky it was available for our stay!

The property is self catering. However, Alfredo and his wife had left us plenty of coffee (pods and instant) and sugar along with local produce of deli cheese, a bottle of beer, water and cans of lemon drink – one for each of us to set us up for the first night. There was also some excellent olive oil for our use. The wonderful surprise was a bottle of bubbly to welcome us – thank you! The shower gel and shampoo were excellent quality. The apartment is a couple of minutes from bars and a short walk to supermarkets. Alfredo provided us with lots of information about Seville. He also texted the morning after our first night there to see if we had slept well and if everything was ok. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment – you won’t be disappointed.
