So I stumbled upon this penthouse at Suites Maestranza Santas Patronas completely by accident – honestly, I was just wandering down Calle Cristóbal Morales after getting lost trying to find a decent tapas place, and there it was. The thing about staying in Seville’s old town is that you’re literally surrounded by centuries of history, but you know what? Sometimes you just want to soak in a jacuzzi after walking on cobblestones all day, and this place gets that balance exactly right.
The penthouse itself is pretty spectacular – I mean, you’ve got this rooftop jacuzzi where you can actually see the cathedral spires while you’re relaxing, which sounds cheesy but honestly made my evening after a long day exploring the Alcázar. The apartment feels more like borrowing a friend’s really nice place than staying in a hotel, if that makes sense. There’s actual space to spread out, a kitchen that’s properly equipped (not just those sad mini-fridges), and the kind of comfortable furniture you’d actually choose for your own home. What really impressed me was the parking situation – and trust me, if you’ve ever tried to drive in Seville’s old quarter, you’ll understand why this matters. Having a guaranteed spot means you can actually explore other parts of Andalusia without the stress of wondering where you’ll dump your rental car when you get back.
The location is pretty much perfect for what most people want from a Seville trip. You’re a five-minute walk from the cathedral and Giralda tower, maybe seven minutes to the Royal Alcázar if you don’t get distracted by the orange trees lining the streets. The Maestranza bullring is literally around the corner – you can hear the crowds during bullfighting season, which adds this authentic atmosphere without being disruptive. I loved being able to walk to Triana across the river for dinner, then come back to a quiet street that doesn’t get the late-night bar crowds you’ll find closer to Plaza de Armas. The building itself has that classic Sevillian architecture with the wrought-iron balconies, but inside it’s been updated thoughtfully – good wifi, proper air conditioning (essential in summer), and modern plumbing that actually works consistently. One thing that surprised me was how helpful the management was with local recommendations. They steered me toward this tiny flamenco bar called Casa de la Guitarra that I never would have found otherwise. With a 9.1 rating, you’d expect it to be good, but it really does live up to the hype – it’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay just because leaving feels like too much work.

The apartment was just as it was described. Before checking in, the host sent all the necessary information about check in procedure, jacuzzi and car park, all went smoothly. The location of the aparment was great, very close to different attractions and neighbourhoods of Seville and yet on a quiet street. The car park was very close to the apartment .

Very good location within the old city with walking distance to many of the sites worth visiting in Seville. Extremely quiet. The closed parking garage just around the corner is an added plus (unlike some sites on Booking.com that claim to have free parking, but in fact, it is a space on the street, if available).
What could be improved: Although there is a jacuzzi on the terrace, it does not have a cover, so the water is cold, and it was not working. The repairman came just as we were leaving the apartment. Everything was just perfection. Location is amazing, apartment clean, well equipped, host lovely, but above all the jacuzzi. Having your own hot tub on the terrace is amazing. Don't walk, run to this apartment 🙂

The Location is just perfect. Its just one lane away from the main area of hustle bustle. The space is beautiful and is fully loaded with all amenities. The private parking is also perfect with secure locking in such narrow lanes. It was pleasure to be staying here.

This property is in a fabulous location within easy reach of popular sites to visit. The addition of parking was a huge bonus. Despite having poor weather on the two nights we stayed, the jacuzzi was a fun asset and for the brief bit of sun we had, it was lovely to see the little garden area gets the late afternoon sun.
What could be improved: We’d had a very long journey to Seville and were disappointed to arrive at the agreed check in time to find the room being cleaned and told to come back in an hour. We were tired and just wanted to drop the bags, have a quick shower and go out.
