You know what caught me off guard about Suites Triana Sevilla? It’s tucked away on Calle San Jorge in a way that feels almost accidental – like you stumbled onto something the tourist buses haven’t figured out yet. I mean, you’re right in Triana, which honestly is where I’d want to stay anyway since it’s got that authentic Seville vibe without the crowds trampling through your morning coffee.

The apartments themselves are actually proper suites, not those tiny European hotel rooms where you’re bumping elbows with your suitcase. There’s space to spread out, and the kitchenettes are functional enough that you could skip the overpriced hotel breakfast scene if you wanted. What really works here is the location – you can walk to the Guadalquivir in about three minutes, and crossing the Isabel II bridge puts you right into the cathedral area without dealing with taxis or metro chaos. The neighborhood around San Jorge has these little tapas bars that locals actually use, not the tourist traps with laminated menus in four languages.

I’ll be honest, the 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but everything works properly and the beds are comfortable enough that you won’t wake up cranky. The building has that renovated Andalusian charm without being too precious about it, and surprisingly, it stays pretty quiet at night even though you’re close enough to the action. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in Triana (it always is), but there are options nearby if you’re driving. The staff actually knows the area well – they gave me directions to a ceramics workshop that I never would have found otherwise, and steered me toward the Thursday market that’s way better than the touristy ones. For the price point and that 8.6 rating, it delivers what you’d hope for: a comfortable base that doesn’t feel like every other generic hotel stay, with enough local character that you remember where you stayed instead of just where you visited.

  The location is excellent, most landmarks easily walkable.

  Suites Triana was a wonderfully comfortable place to stay. It has absolutely everything you need and it is situated in the most delightful area, full of character and community feel. The accommodation is close to a local food market, many good restaurants and in an area of town famous for its pottery -so your souvenirs are covered! A short (10 min) walk )over a historic bridge, from the centre of Seville and its many attractions. A really really lovely place.
  
  What could be improved: A little noisy over the weekend at night, due to the proximity to a popular street for restaurants – but honestly it wasn’t that bad – just bring ear plugs if this kind of thing bothers you. The pluses of the location far out way this one thing!

  What could be improved: Balcony door did not work properly, it got jammed in the open position, but the owner came quickly and reclosed it. It would only be fixed after our departure.
