Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to The Corner House – I mean, the name sounds pretty generic, right? But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It sits right on Alameda de Hércules, which if you don’t know Seville, is basically this long tree-lined promenade that’s sort of the heartbeat of the old town. You’re literally in the thick of things here, but somehow the hotel manages to feel like a quiet refuge once you step inside.
The building itself has that typical Andalusian charm – you know, whitewashed walls and those gorgeous interior courtyards that keep everything cool even when it’s blazing outside (and trust me, Seville gets hot). What I love about staying here is that you can walk out the front door and be at some of the city’s best tapas bars in about two minutes. There’s this little place called Bar Eslava just down the street that locals absolutely swear by, and honestly, I probably wouldn’t have found it if I’d stayed somewhere more touristy. The Alameda itself transforms throughout the day – mornings it’s all joggers and dog walkers, evenings it becomes this buzzing social scene with street performers and families out for paseos.
The rooms are well, they’re comfortable without being flashy. I appreciated that they actually thought about soundproofing because the Alameda can get pretty lively on weekend nights – though if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs just in case. The staff genuinely knows their stuff about the neighborhood, which makes such a difference when you’re trying to figure out whether to walk to the cathedral (totally doable, about 15 minutes) or where to find parking if you’re crazy enough to drive in Seville’s old town. Speaking of which – don’t drive here unless you absolutely have to. The narrow streets will make you question your life choices, and parking is basically a nightmare. But from The Corner House, you can easily walk to the Metropol Parasol, the cathedral, even across the river to Triana if you’re feeling ambitious. That 8.8 rating isn’t just for show – this place gets the fundamentals right without trying to be something it’s not, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re exploring a city as incredible as Seville.

The room was clean and comfy. Even had a small refrigerator to keep something’s cool. Right in the heart of old town so easy access to shops and dining. Loved the farmers market out in the plaza on Saturday. Nice touch to offer small discount on breakfast at Latte close by. It’s worth the short walk. Great coffee and food.
Check in staff was wonderful. Thanks ladies
Farina 23 restaurant down the street is excellent Italian food!!!!!
What could be improved: We dined downstairs and although the food was excellent my husband overheard the staff talking about us negatively which kind of ruined our dining experience. 🤷🏻♀️Paolo from United Kingdom – 9 June 2025 (9/10)

Extremely comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Great hot shower. Fab location. We arrived late in the evening and unfortunately there was a widespread power cut across Spain, and the hotel had no power. The staff were very helpful working under difficult circumstances. Found a tapas place nearby called Duo Tapas that was open and enjoyed some lovely food there. We will try the restaurant at the hotel another time.
What could be improved: Everything was good, would recommend for a short stay.Itai from Israel – 27 April 2025 (9/10)

Excellent staff, very helpful, great location and superb food.
Room was very clean, comfortable bed with all the essential facilities; brilliant for a short break!
What could be improved: The air con was a bit temperamental, but we were told there was a problem, in the other rooms as well due to the weather?? Thankfully, we didn't need it all the time!Steven from United Kingdom – 12 April 2025 (9/10)
fabulous little hotel. everything you needed. Lovely location, 10/15 stroll to the 'town 'and a further 5 minutes on from there to the 'sights'. Set in a big square which was quiet during the day but came alive at night, especially on a Friday and Saturday. We stayed in room 10 which was located on the back and didn't hear any nighttime noise, friends where in rooms to the front of the hotel and were at times disturbed by noise of the hustle and bustle but nothing too bad, if you're a light sleeper maybe ask for a room at the back. Staff super helpful, spoke great English, ordered taxis for us on day of departure and stored our bags on day of arrival whilst we went off and explored and then the bags were in our room ready for us which was a nice little touch. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

The owner was lovely when she checked us in. The rooftop is gorgeous! The Michelin star restaurant downstairs looked amazing but we didn’t try! One of the best places I’ve stayed. Also, one of the best showers I’ve had ever!

Staff and welcome were amazing! Very personal touch from start to finish, and always ready with advice, support and outstanding service. Facilities brilliant – especially the rooftop bar, balcony and super IPA in the minibar! The comp coffee/tea on each floor a super idea too. Location is also excellent with easy access to the city
What could be improved: Nothing to dislike here!
