Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and honestly, the Torneo Suite Apartment caught me off guard in the best way. When you first walk up to 63 Calle Torneo, you’re basically in the heart of everything that matters – I mean, you can literally walk to the Cathedral in about eight minutes, but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling back at 3 AM. The building itself has that classic Sevillian charm without feeling like it’s trying too hard, you know?

What actually impressed me most was how they’ve managed to make a suite apartment feel… well, like an apartment you’d actually want to live in. The space is generous – not that cramped “suite” nonsense where you can barely open your suitcase. There’s proper counter space in the kitchen area, which is clutch if you’re like me and need your morning coffee ritual just right. The bed situation is solid too, and I’m picky about mattresses. Plus, the AC works properly, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places in Seville’s old quarter struggle with that during summer months. I stayed there in July and slept like a baby.

Here’s the thing about the location that most people don’t realize until they’re there – Calle Torneo puts you perfectly positioned for the real Seville experience. You’re close enough to pop over to the Alameda de Hércules for evening drinks (that’s where locals actually hang out, not just the touristy spots), but you can also easily walk down to the river for morning runs along the Guadalquivir. The nearest grocery store is maybe two blocks away, and there’s this little café around the corner that does incredible tostadas – I probably went there four out of five mornings. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving, but honestly, once you’re settled in here, you won’t need a car anyway.

The staff clearly knows what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, they actually answered their phone when I had a question about late checkout, and someone had stocked the basics in the fridge, which was a nice touch. I did notice the elevator is one of those tiny European ones, so if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, just be prepared for multiple trips. But that’s pretty standard for this part of the city. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout the space, which matters if you’re trying to work remotely or just need to upload all those photos from the Alcázar.

What really sold me on this place is how it strikes that perfect balance – it feels authentically Sevillian without any of the rough edges that can make old quarter accommodations frustrating. You get the charm of staying in a historic neighborhood, but with modern amenities that actually work. Plus, at this price point and with consistently high ratings, it’s become one of those places I’d book again without hesitation. Sometimes you just know when you’ve found a good thing.

  Very comfortable, clean, well equipped modern apartment. Good AC/heating. Everything you would need is there. Very good comms from the team and lots of helpful info on Seville. Easy check in. They were good enough to let us check in early since the apartment was ready. 15-20 min brisk flat walk into the old centre. Some grocers just around the corner so self-catering was easy. Some basics (salt, pepper, oil, coffee) provided which was excellent. Number 21 bus just down the road gets you to Santa Justa Station.
  
  What could be improved: It's pretty obvious from the map that you're situated on the Tourneo so expect some traffic noise (although you have modern double glazing so don't worry) we had anticipated this so not a big deal. We'd weighed this up against other noise and poor plumbing etc to be found in the old town and were very happy here.

  Kitchen is easy to use. They provide everything for the cooking. Room is big and comfortable. I like the terrace. The bed is very comfortable.

  Few minutes walk from Torneo Plaza de Armas bus station, can be easily reached by the Airport Bus. Very convenient location, 20 min walk to the historic center, a convenient bus station about 100m from the location to reach any other part of the city. Supermarket about 200m away. Great host, available via WhatsApp, sent us a long list of local recommendations (restaurants, places to see, cafes etc…).
