Hotel Description

You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to the Triana Acacias – I mean, it’s tucked away on this narrow street called Rodrigo de Triana, and honestly, if you blink you might miss it. But that’s actually part of its charm. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of calm that’s pretty rare in Seville, especially during those sweltering summer months when the city feels like it’s melting.

The thing about staying in Triana is that you’re technically across the river from all the major tourist stuff, but – and this is key – you’re in the real Seville. I’m talking about the neighborhood where locals actually hang out, where you’ll find those tiny tapas bars that don’t even have English menus, and where the sound of flamenco guitar drifts out of random doorways on weekend nights. The hotel sits right in the heart of this, close enough to the Isabel II bridge that you can walk to the cathedral in maybe fifteen minutes, but far enough from the crowds that you can actually sleep at night. Well, except during Feria week – but honestly, nothing’s quiet during Feria.

What really got me about this place was the attention to detail that you don’t usually see in a four-star. The rooms have this modern-meets-traditional Andalusian thing going on, with these gorgeous tile accents that remind you where you are without being too touristy about it. The staff – and I can’t stress this enough – actually know the neighborhood. When I asked about where to get good pescaíto frito, the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward some generic restaurant guide. He told me about this little spot three blocks away where his grandmother used to take him, and it was absolutely perfect. The air conditioning works like a dream (crucial in Seville, trust me), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable – sometimes these boutique places sacrifice comfort for style, but not here.

I’ll be honest, parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you’re driving, but that’s true anywhere in this part of the city. The trick is to use one of the public lots near the river and just walk – it’s actually pleasant, especially in the evening when the temperature drops and everyone comes out to stroll. The breakfast situation is solid without being fancy, and there’s a little courtyard area where I found myself having coffee most mornings, listening to the sounds of the neighborhood waking up. You get this mix of church bells, motorbikes, and people calling to each other from their balconies – it’s like a daily soundtrack of authentic Spanish life. If you want to experience Seville like someone who actually lives here rather than just checking off monuments, this is your spot.

  • Helene from United States – 26 May 2025 (9/10)

The rooms were clean. The façade of the building was amazing. I also liked our atrium. Everything seemed new and clean.

    What could be improved: Nothing.

    Location, cleanliness, space

What could be improved: No wifi, no windows

  • Clara from Italy – 2 March 2025 (8/10)

The location, the street and the building are great. The elevator is very modern and the system used to get in the apartment only by codes without keys was very good.
The terrace is the highlight of the apt and the light and the view very beautiful.
The only aspects we didn't appreciate were:
    – the size of the apt is NOT as shown in the photos
    – the lack of coat hangers, which Is a minor thing, and can be easily fixed by the agency
    – the apt was NOT perfectly cleane
    – the apt is NOT comfortable for 4 people because the only bathroom is the only bedroom.. That can create issues in case you need to use bathroom in the night, for example.
Unless it's a family with kids, it can result not practical.
My partner and I used the sofa bed in the living room, and I left the bedroom to my parents.
It's easy to understand it was NOT comfortable.

I suggest it to a couple but coming back to Seville I would try a different one.
