Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Triana Deluxe? It’s actually tucked away on this quieter stretch of Calle San Jacinto where you can still hear the morning clatter of ceramic workshops – because yeah, you’re literally in the heart of where Seville’s famous pottery comes from. I mean, most people think of Triana as just “that neighborhood across the river,” but staying here made me realize it’s got this whole artisan soul that the main tourist zones have sort of lost.

The hotel itself feels like someone took a traditional Andalusian building and gave it a really thoughtful modern makeover without losing the character. The lobby has these gorgeous azulejo tiles (obviously – you’re in Triana after all), but they’ve mixed them with contemporary furniture that actually works instead of trying too hard to be trendy. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend arriving after 3pm because the front desk gets a bit overwhelmed during the lunch changeover. The rooms are honestly more spacious than I expected for this price point in Seville – I could actually open my suitcase without playing furniture Tetris, which is saying something. The air conditioning works properly too, and trust me, you’ll appreciate that if you’re visiting between June and September when the city turns into a beautiful furnace.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place though – the location is perfect for people who want to experience Seville like locals do, not just tick off Instagram spots. You’re a two-minute walk from the Triana Market, where you can grab proper jamón ibérico and manchego for breakfast (way better than hotel buffet fruit, honestly). The Isabel II bridge is right there when you want to cross into the old city, but you can also just wander down toward the Guadalquivir and watch the sunset from the riverbank without fighting crowds. I discovered this little tapas bar called Bar Anselma just around the corner – no tourists, incredible tortilla española, and the owner remembers your drink order after two visits. The neighborhood gets lively at night, especially on weekends, but the hotel’s got decent soundproofing so it’s more atmospheric than disruptive. Parking can be tricky on the street, but there’s a public garage about three blocks away that won’t break the bank. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s one of those places that gets the details right without making a big show of it.

Great little apartment within walking distance of all attractions..clean and nicely decorated. parking included was a plus.

  • Adele from United Kingdom – 6 January 2025 (10/10)

Lidia was a great host. The apartment was outstanding – spacious, nicely furnished, and clean. The location was perfect, close to the Triana Bridge. We were able to walk to all the attractions.

    What could be improved: Nothing!

  • Theodor from Romania – 22 November 2024 (10/10)

Nice accommodation, easy to walk to city center. Although it rained 2 days, the apartment had heat. You could find anything you need, and also it had a supermarket down stairs.

What could be improved: The mattress from the first bedroom was a bit hard

  • Macrae from United Kingdom – 24 October 2024 (10/10)

Loved this apartment. Not only is it in a brilliant location, it is beautifully presented and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

What could be improved: One very minor quibble is that one of the towel hooks in the ensuite hadn't been repaired.
Note that this is an old building so the pipes were sometimes a bit noisy. It didn't bother us at all, but may others.

  • Zhen from Singapore – 8 May 2024 (10/10)

Apartment was lovely and clean, highly recommended!

  • Vishwambhar from United Kingdom – 9 April 2024 (10/10)

Very Central Very clean. The apartment was far far superior than stay in any 5* hotel. Free wifi and plenty of cookware with tea and coffee in the aprtment.
    I will strongly recoment.
The apartment is very good for 4 persons but good enough for 6 people.

What could be improved: Nothing I can mention which i did not like.

  • Sabina from Slovenia – 13 August 2024 (9/10)

Clean apartment, which is most often seen in the bathroom and kitchen. Spotless. The floor is clean. Enough towels and extra pillows. The kitchen has basic spices, oil, vinegar, coffee, tea… The response of the staff is also immediate and very helpful. When I told about the mattress being too soft, they brought bedding for the sofa, which I do not recommend for several nights. The apartment is very good and in a great location. Plus there is a parking lot under the accommodation. I recommend it.

What could be improved: The mattress in the large bedroom is very soft, but too hard in the small one. Not recommended if you have back problems. I would praise the cleanliness of the entire apartment, only the air conditioner would need to be cleaned urgently.

  • Aran from Netherlands – 12 February 2025 (9/10)

Great location, comfortable, had everything we needed

What could be improved: Our bed was a little soft.

  • Yvonne from United Kingdom – 24 September 2024 (8/10)

The location was fabulous and plenty of space in the apartment. The parking was an additional bonus. If the issues were addressed as mentioned , then we would happily return to stay again. The WiFi was good, and the apartment was clean and tidy.

What could be improved: The mattress in the second bedroom was like rock, so a mattress protector or enhancer is needed, if not purchasing a new mattress. There wasn't any ovenware in the kitchen, only one tea towel, no caffetier, only one large and one small towel for person. The toilet above the master bedroom was continually running through the night which meant there was running water noise in the downpipe in the master bedroom all night.

  • Laura from France – 24 February 2025 (7/10)

The hosts were very available, flexible and helpful. I got there later than I intended and they were very understanding and even let me enter the flat earlier than check-in time.
The private parking space is a big plus too!
The flag was spotless and perfectly clean, lots of storage space, coffee and tea ready, all you need in the bathroom. Also fairly quiet even though it’s in the middle of the city
There is an elevator that goes directly from the parking to the door.

What could be improved: The one and only issue was the mattress in the second bedroom. It is *really* hard and impossible to sleep on .. so I ended up on the couch, which was fairly comfortable but still a couch and I had booked this properly specifically to get 2 bedrooms. Given the price of the property I was very disappointed
