Hotel Description

Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and honestly? Unika Homes Alfalfa & Terrace gets it right in ways that most hotels just… don’t. The thing is, it’s tucked away on Calle Almirante Hoyos, which — if you know the old town at all — puts you literally in the heart of everything without being on one of those tourist-packed streets where you can’t sleep because of the flamenco bars going until 3 AM.

When I first walked up, I’ll admit I was a bit confused because it doesn’t scream “hotel” from the outside. It’s more like someone took a gorgeous old Sevillan building and turned it into this incredibly thoughtful place to stay. The terrace (which, you know what, is actually the star of the show here) gives you these views over the rooftops that make you feel like you’re seeing the real Seville — not the postcard version, but the lived-in one where people hang laundry and have conversations across balconies. I spent way too much time up there with morning coffee, watching the neighborhood wake up. The rooms themselves feel personal, like someone actually thought about how you’d want to live in this space rather than just pass through it. Mine had these beautiful tiles — the kind you see in old Sevillan homes — and the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in Spain, which is saying something because Spanish beds can be… well, hit or miss.

What really sold me on this place, though, was how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re a two-minute walk from Plaza de la Alfalfa (hence the name, obviously), which locals actually use — it’s not just a tourist photo spot. There’s this little bar on the corner where the guy behind the counter remembered my cortado order by day three, and you can grab groceries or whatever you need without hiking across the city. The cathedral’s close enough that you hear the bells, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the cruise ship crowds first thing in the morning. Parking’s actually doable in this area too, if you’re driving — I mean, it’s still Seville so it’s not exactly spacious, but there are spots on the side streets that don’t require a engineering degree to navigate. The staff here genuinely seems to care about the place, which you can tell because they’ll give you directions that actually make sense instead of just pointing vaguely toward “the center.” I’d definitely come back, and I’m pretty picky about where I stay these days.

    La situation geographique (vieille et ville et tres bons bars à tapas, heladerias, bazar, …), le volume de l'appartement, sa terrace, sa tranquilité. Aussi, il me faut l'ajouter, l'efficacité et la rapidité de communication des hôtes nous a bien été utile.

    What could be improved: un presse orange aurait été un plus pour apprecier au petite dejeuner un bon jus d'orange frais d'andalousie. Mais desormais l'appartement possède un presse-agrumes.

    Struttura di alto livello, ottimo design, terrazza con tavolo da pranzo molto piacevole, posizione centralissima, ottimo servizio logistico e Carrefour Express per spesa a 100metri dalla struttura. La consiglio di sicuro.

    What could be improved: Praticamente nulla: abbiamo ricevuto anche messaggi dai gestori circa il blackout elettrico in cui siamo incappati il giorno 28 Aprile e abbiamo apprezzato molto l'attenzione al cliente.

    L’appartement a un emplacement parfait pour pouvoir tout faire à pieds. Les centres d’intérêts sont très proches.
    L’appartement est spacieux, avec 2 salles de bains et 3 vraies chambres c’est un plus, nous étions 5 et nous avions largement la place.
    La communication avec l’hôte était rapide et réactif, les explications pour accéder au lieu, était claire et précise pour une arrivée autonome.
    Nous gardons l’adresse pour une prochaine visite et nous le conseillerons autour de nous.

    El apartamento es amplio y está decorado con mucho gusto y en una ubicación inmejorable, súper céntrico pero en una calle tranquila sin ruido, perfecto para el descanso.

    What could be improved: No hay ni un solo cajón en todo el apartamento, y los armarios de las habitaciones no son armarios como tal, si no una estructura con perchas. No hay ni una cómoda y las mesillas no tienen ni cajones ni un hueco para dejar la ropa. Tampoco hay nada para colgar las toallas, ni un enganche o perchero, éramos 7 personas y nos ha supuesto una proeza encontrar la manera de organizarnos por este motivo. Tener ordenado el espacio nos ha resultado completamente imposible. Uno de los baños desprendía un olor muy desagradable. El sistema de llave electrónica nos ha fallado mucho, cuando activaban un tfno se desactivaba otro, y solo te dan un juego de llaves. El apartamento no se puede abrir con llave, solo con código, poco apto para gente mayor que no se apañe con las tecnologías.
