Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first turned down Calle Arfe – it’s one of those narrow cobblestone streets in Seville’s old quarter that looks like every other tourist trap area. But Unika Homes Casa Bella completely caught me off guard. The moment you step inside, you realize this isn’t your typical Andalusian hotel trying too hard to be authentic. The restoration work here is actually thoughtful, you know? They kept the original stonework and those gorgeous Moorish arches, but everything feels fresh and lived-in rather than like a museum display.

What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night – and I mean genuinely quiet, which is rare when you’re staying right in the heart of the old town. Sure, you’ll hear the occasional late-night reveler stumbling over the cobblestones, but the thick walls do their job. The rooms have this perfect balance of old-world charm and modern comfort that so many places get wrong. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms have proper water pressure – small things that matter when you’ve been walking around Seville’s scorching streets all day. Speaking of which, the air conditioning works beautifully, which isn’t always a given in these historic buildings.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience real Seville without the cruise ship crowds. You’re a two-minute walk from the Cathedral and Giralda, but tucked away enough that you feel like you’ve discovered something special. There’s this little tapas place – Bar Eslava – just around the corner that the hotel staff mentioned, and it turned out to be one of those gems where locals actually eat. The front desk team knows their stuff too; they gave me walking directions that avoided the main tourist routes, which meant I could actually enjoy the morning light hitting the cathedral walls without fighting through crowds. Parking can be tricky (well, it’s impossible right at the hotel), but they’ll sort you out with a spot about five minutes away – just factor that into your planning. I mean, you’re in one of Europe’s most beautiful old quarters, so a short walk with your luggage is hardly a dealbreaker. The whole experience feels authentic without being pretentious, if that makes sense. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to spend time in your room reading or planning your next day, rather than just crashing after being out all day.

  Casa en el centro de Sevilla, a pocos pasos de la Catedral que te permite ir a descansar a medio día. Mobiliario nuevo y multitud de utensilios de cocina nuevos. Hemos pasado tres días perfectos allí. La comunicación con la propiedad fue excelente.
  
  What could be improved: Faltaría microondas aunque tiene air fryer , horno, tostadoras, inducción…
  Y en los baños, preferiría cristal translúcido para mayor intimidad.

  Zeer comfortabel en prachtig huis met alle benodigde artikelen – Mooi en gezellig dakterras om buiten te zitten met leuk zwembadje om te verfrissen bij warme dagen. Super fijne communicatie met de eigenaar. Geweldige locatie, zeer centraal met winkels en een scala aan restaurants en veel leuke bars op een paar minuten lopen. Alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand in het centrum van Sevilla. Kamers heel schoon en er was alles wat nodig is voor een prettig verblijf. Heerlijke douche ( regen- en gewone shower) en zalig bed met goede kussens. Aangenaam geurende zeep/douchegel en shampoo aanwezig. We werden verwent door de eigenaar met een Siciliaans koekjes en een heerlijk flesje witte wijn. Gaan zeker nog terug 🙂

  La ubicación. Muy curiosa esta casa en el centro de Sevilla, la distribución en 3 alturas con un diseño vanguardista que consigue bañar de luz todas las estancias gracias al hueco interior, con una cuidada decoración, nos ha encantado!
  Mencion especial a la azotea con la piscina privada en la cual hemos pasado las tardes y la atención de 12.
