You know what caught me off guard about this place? Walking up to Plaza Europa, I was expecting just another converted townhouse with maybe a tiny courtyard pool – but honestly, Unique House completely delivers on that “private spa” promise in ways that most Seville accommodations just can’t match. The whole setup feels almost secretive in the best way, tucked into this quiet corner of the old town where you’re still close enough to hear the cathedral bells but far enough from Calle Sierpes that you won’t deal with the tourist crowds stumbling back at 2 AM.

The pool situation is actually remarkable – I mean, finding proper pool space in Seville’s historic center is like striking gold, and this isn’t some postage stamp afterthought. It’s genuinely private (high walls, good screening) which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to decompress after trudging through August heat or those intense April crowds. The spa area feels intimate rather than fancy-hotel sterile, if that makes sense. What really got me was the attention to details that most places skip – the water temperature is consistently perfect, the towels are actually plush, and there’s this thoughtful lighting setup that works whether you’re there for a morning swim or evening wind-down. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward lobby waiting around since it’s more like arriving at a friend’s really well-appointed house.

Location-wise, you’re positioned perfectly for exploring without being trapped in the absolute chaos of Barrio Santa Cruz. Plaza Europa gives you this nice buffer zone – close enough that you can walk to the Alcázar in maybe eight minutes, but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups. The neighborhood actually comes alive in the evenings when locals emerge, and there’s this excellent little tapas spot just around the corner that I probably never would’ve found if I’d stayed closer to the main tourist strips. Parking can be tricky (well, it’s Seville’s old town, so that’s expected), but the hosts actually provide solid guidance on the nearby lots, which saves you from driving in circles. The 9.1 rating honestly feels right – this isn’t trying to be a luxury hotel, but it absolutely nails what it’s going for. Three stars might seem modest, but when you’ve got exclusive pool and spa access in this location, stars become pretty meaningless. Just be aware that if you’re someone who needs constant hotel services or prefers busy lobby scenes, this might feel too residential – but for most people, that’s exactly the appeal.

  The location was amazing! The roof terrace was a great place to hang out. The beds were really comfy. Laureen was super helpful and flexible with the arrangements. The sauna and steam room were also fantastic.
  
  What could be improved: Only a few minor things – air con in one room leaked (but it was 42 degrees!) I cut my finger on the edge of the oven trying to get the freezer open.

  • The property is fantastic, with excellent facilities such as a sauna, swimming pool, and jacuzzi.
  • The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.
  • Everything about the apartment was great, with a very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great during our stay, so we couldn’t enjoy the rooftop pool.
  • It would have been more convenient if there was an elevator, especially for carrying luggage.

  The house was in a fabulous location in the old town, close to everything!
  It was perfect for a large group having the entire 3 levels with swimming pool, spa and sauna.
  Great kitchen with everything needed. We particularly enjoyed having our afternoon drinks/snacks on the rooftop.
  The house was clean with all necessary amenities and Laureens communication was exceptional.
  Highly recommended for a fabulous Seville experience!
  
  What could be improved: A little noisy in the front bedrooms with nearby parties & celebrations as the windows are not double glazed.

  Very comfortable with plenty of space and the fact that every bedroom has its own bathroom facilities. Also; we enjoyed the roof top pool; the sauna; the steam room AND the jacuzzi – seldom will you find such well equipped accomodation.
  
  What could be improved: For a 4 night 5 day stay in a top tier house like this; I would expect better quality bath towels and also a change of towels would have been appreciated.

  The property was spacious, clean & comfortable. The location was great & it was a very social space. The spa facilities were great quality. Our host Laureen was so helpful & went beyond what we would expect or a host. Helped with recommendations, helped me check in and was so quick to respond at all times.

  The location was as described and excellent to explore Seville Old Town. All rooms were comfortable with great AC. Pool was amazing on the roof and required in the heat of Seville in August. Our support from Anna was great
  
  What could be improved: Some maintenance was required around the pool and with the pool steps. This will be fixed when workers are back from holiday. A temporary fix was arranged quickly.
