Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and Veoapartment Francos honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. You walk up to this building on Calle Francos and think “okay, another apartment rental,” but then you get inside and realize someone actually put thought into this place. The location is kind of perfect if you know Seville at all – you’re literally in the heart of the old town, maybe a three-minute walk from the cathedral, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the main tourist chaos right outside your door.
What I really appreciated was how they managed to keep that authentic Sevillian apartment feel while actually making it work for travelers. The ceilings are high (thank god, because Seville summers are brutal), and there’s this lovely natural light that filters in during the morning hours. You know what’s rare? Finding a place in the old quarter where you can actually sleep past 7 AM, but the street noise here is surprisingly manageable – Calle Francos gets foot traffic but it’s not one of those party streets that keeps you up all night. The apartment itself feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I mean as a compliment. Real wooden furniture, proper Spanish tiles, and honestly the kitchen setup is better than most hotels if you want to grab some jamón and cheese from Mercado del Arenal and have a proper breakfast.
Here’s the thing about staying right in this area – you can walk to basically everything that matters. Plaza de Armas is five minutes if you need to catch a bus somewhere, the Alcázar is literally around the corner, and you’re close enough to the river that evening walks along the Guadalquivir become part of your routine. But what locals know (and what you’ll figure out quickly) is that some of the best tapas spots are the tiny places tucked into these side streets. There’s this little bar maybe two blocks away where they do incredible montaditos, and you’d never find it unless you were actually staying in the neighborhood and wandering around. The building itself has that slightly worn elegance that old Seville does so well – not fancy in a flashy way, but solid and comfortable. Check-in was straightforward, no drama, and they clearly know what they’re doing in terms of managing the space. I’d definitely come back, especially since finding anywhere decent in the old town during Easter or Feria season is basically impossible, and this place seems to actually care about the experience rather than just cramming people into overpriced rooms.

Awesome location. Lots of great food nearby. Air conditioning. It was very hot at the time in Seville. Washing machine and clotheslines on the roof of the building. The apartment is good size for 2 people with 2 big suitcases and there is a lift. Major sites are in walking distance.
What could be improved: 2 single beds we had to push together.Lydia from Germany – 26 March 2025 (9/10)
Die Lage ist super. Mitte in der Altstadt, trotzdem ruhig. Bequemes Bett .
