You know what struck me first about Veoapartment Jardines Murillo? It’s actually tucked away on Avenida de Menéndez Pelayo in a way that feels residential but not isolated – I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Real Alcázar, but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your door. The building itself has this understated elegance that screams “locals live here too,” which honestly made me feel less like a tourist and more like I was staying at a friend’s place in Seville.

The apartment setup is where this place really shines, and I get why it’s pulling a 9.8 rating. These aren’t hotel rooms – they’re actual livable spaces with kitchens that don’t feel like afterthoughts. I found myself making coffee in the morning and actually wanting to linger instead of rushing out, which rarely happens when I’m traveling. The beds are properly comfortable (not that firm European hotel standard that leaves you aching), and there’s decent storage space, something you don’t realize you miss until you’re living out of a suitcase for a week. What really got me was the attention to small details – good lighting for reading, outlets where you actually need them, and windows that open properly so you can hear the neighborhood coming alive in the morning.

The Nervión location is sort of perfect if you want to experience Seville without feeling like you’re trapped in a tourist bubble. You’re close enough to walk to Santa Cruz and all the major sights, but you’re also near regular neighborhood bars and that little mercado where locals actually shop. I’d walk down toward the Guadalquivir in the evenings, and it never felt like a trek. Parking can be tricky in this part of town – well, parking’s tricky everywhere in Seville – but the staff actually gave me specific street names where I’d have better luck, which showed they know the area. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that “let me show you every feature of the room” routine. They handed over the keys, gave me the WiFi password, and let me settle in. Honestly, after a long day of travel, that’s exactly what you want. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, and you want to be in the heart of things without sacrificing your sanity to crowds, this is your spot.

  De locatie van het appartement is top. Het ligt dan wel aan een drukke weg (overdag), maar de ramen zijn erg goed geïsoleerd en je hoort er niets van. 's Avonds neemt de drukte af en heb je nog nauwelijks last van de weg.
  
  Op slechts 2 minuten lopen is een bakkertje waar je heerlijk kunt ontbijten en even verderop een supermarktje. Met 5 minuten lopen zit je midden in het centrum of in het Maria Luisa Park en het Plaza de España.
  
  Bij aankomst werden wij verwelkomd door Damían die ons vanalles uitlegde. Er is een keukentje en wasmachine. Drogen van de was doe je op het dak, wat in het zonnetje en wind gemiddeld 10 minuten duurt.
  
  De bedden liggen hard, maar slapen erg goed (vinden wij). Ook voldoende ruimte om je kleding te hangen. Wij hebben er 7 dagen met 3 personen gezeten en dat ging prima.
