Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Veoapartment Rastro when I first booked it – the name alone had me scratching my head. But walking up to that handsome building on Calle Rastro, I knew I’d stumbled onto something good. The Nervión neighborhood isn’t where most tourists end up, which is actually perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Seville rather than just passing through. You’re far enough from the cathedral crowds but close enough that a twenty-minute walk (or quick metro ride from San Bernardo station) gets you right into the thick of things.
What really won me over was how thoughtfully everything’s been put together here. The apartments – and they really are proper apartments, not just hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner – feel like someone actually lives in them. I mean, there’s real counter space in the kitchen, decent-sized wardrobes, and thank god, proper blackout curtains. The whole place has this crisp, modern vibe without being sterile, you know? Plus the Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (I’m looking at you, every other place I’ve stayed in Spain where it mysteriously dies in the bedroom). The only thing that caught me off guard was how quiet it gets at night – Nervión isn’t exactly party central, but I’d expected more street noise. Instead, you get the occasional tram rumbling by, which is oddly soothing after a while.
Here’s what I wish someone had told me before arriving: there’s a Mercadona literally around the corner, which is clutch when you’ve got a proper kitchen to play with. And if you’re into the whole El Rastro flea market scene (different from Madrid’s famous one, but still worth poking around), you’re right there. The staff genuinely seem to care about the place – check-in was smooth, and when my shower started acting up, they had someone there within an hour. Look, I’ve stayed in flashier places in Seville’s old town, but there’s something to be said for having space to spread out, especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The 8.8 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – it’s that sweet spot where everything works like it should, the price doesn’t make you wince, and you find yourself thinking “I could actually live here” instead of counting down the days until checkout.

Excellent location, many places within walking distance. Comfortable, safe, clean and quiet apartment. The parking is definitely a big bonus if you're driving. Didn't need the car again while here. The beds are very comfortable. The owner and staff were friendly and quick to respond.

What could be improved: -L’indisponibilité de la piscine sans avoir été averti des dates d’ouverture. Une fois la piscine disponible, elle était sale, nous n’avons pas pu nous baigner.
