Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to Veoapartment Zaragoza – the entrance on Calle Zaragoza is pretty understated, you know? But once you get inside, it’s actually one of those places that just gets everything right. The apartment-style setup means you’re not dealing with typical hotel nonsense, and being right in Seville’s old town means you can literally stumble out the door and be wandering through those narrow cobblestone streets within seconds.

What really sold me on this place is how it manages to feel both authentic and comfortable at the same time. I mean, you’re staying in a proper Sevillian building – complete with that traditional Andalusian architecture – but they’ve modernized everything that actually matters. The kitchen setup is surprisingly well-equipped (I made coffee every morning instead of hunting for a decent café at 7 AM), and the Wi-Fi actually works, which honestly can’t be said for half the places I’ve stayed in southern Spain. The location on Escalera A puts you close enough to hear the Cathedral bells in the morning, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you’re not dealing with constant street noise. Well, except during Semana Santa – but that’s a whole different story, and you’d want to be in the thick of it anyway.

Here’s the thing that surprised me most: the 9.4 rating isn’t inflated marketing hype. They’ve thought through all those little details that make or break a stay. The air conditioning actually cools the place down (crucial in Seville summers, trust me), there’s proper water pressure in the shower, and – this might sound silly – but the bed is positioned so you’re not getting blasted by street light all night. Plus, being apartment-style means you can spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase for days. I ended up extending my stay an extra two nights because, well, why leave? You’re a five-minute walk from the Alcázar, practically next door to some incredible tapas spots that tourists never find (try the little place around the corner on Calle Mateos Gago), and close enough to the Guadalquivir that evening walks along the river become part of your routine. The only minor downside? Parking is basically non-existent in this part of the old town, but honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t want to drive anywhere anyway.

  Obiekt znajduje się w samym centrum, blisko najpopularniejszych atrakcji miasta, co czyni go świetną bazą wypadową do zwiedzania.
  W pobliżu jest wiele lokali oferujących lokalną kuchnię oraz inne usługi.
  Mieszkanie jest bardzo dobrze wyposażone – niczego nam nie brakowało. Przestronna kuchnia posiada zarówno zmywarkę, jak i pralkę, a środki czystości są dostępne.
  Klimatyzacja działała prawidłowo, zapewniając ciepło nawet w grudniowe noce.
  W okolicy znajdują się sklepy spożywcze, co jest bardzo wygodne.
  
  What could be improved: Drzwi od strony ulicy Zaragoza otwierają się z trudem, więc trzeba korzystać z drugiego wejścia.
  Brak kluczy do kosza w budynku oznacza konieczność chodzenia daleko z odpadami.
  Życie nocne w okolicy powoduje hałas – w nocy słychać krzyki osób wychodzących z pobliskiego klubu.
  Winda nie działała przez cały pobyt, choć na szczęście mieszkanie znajduje się na pierwszym piętrze, więc nie było problemu z walizkami.
