Look, when I first saw the name “Wide and bright- 3Bd 2Bth- Arenal,” I honestly thought it was just another generic apartment rental trying too hard to sound appealing. But you know what? They weren’t lying about the wide and bright part. This place actually delivers on that promise in a way that surprised me, especially considering you’re right in the thick of Sevilla’s old town on Avenida de la Constitución.

The location is honestly what makes this place special – I mean, you’re literally walking distance from the Cathedral (you can practically see the Giralda from some windows), but here’s the thing most people don’t realize: this stretch of the avenue gets pretty busy during the day with tourists heading to all the major sites. The flip side? Evenings are actually quite peaceful, and you’re positioned perfectly to duck into the quieter side streets when you want that authentic Sevilla vibe. The apartment itself feels more spacious than most places you’ll find in the old quarter – these buildings weren’t exactly designed with modern comfort in mind, but whoever renovated this one knew what they were doing. The two bathrooms are a godsend if you’re traveling with family or friends, trust me on that one.

What I really appreciated was how the place manages to feel both historic and livable. The ceilings are high (typical for this area), but they’ve got good AC – which, let’s be honest, you’re going to need if you visit between May and September. The kitchen is actually functional, not just decorative like some rentals, though I’ll admit the street-facing rooms can get a bit of noise during morning rush hour. Parking is… well, it’s the old town, so forget about parking right outside, but there’s a decent public garage about a ten-minute walk away near Plaza de Armas. The building itself has that classic Andalusian feel with the tiled entrance and thick walls that keep things cool, but the WiFi is solid and the water pressure is better than half the hotels I’ve stayed in around here.

Honestly, for a 4-star rating, it punches above its weight in terms of space and location, though I can see why it’s sitting at a 7.5 – it’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable and authentic. If you’re the type who wants to be in the heart of everything but still have room to spread out and actually live a bit during your stay, this works really well. Just pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, and maybe grab groceries from the Mercado del Arenal nearby rather than relying on the touristy spots right on the avenue.

    Apartment was large and suited our group of 6 – amazing location. Sunny balcony was amazing for a December holiday

    What could be improved: The walls are paper thin and you can hear noises from other apartments. Even the neighbors are aware of this and keep asking the landlord to fix the problem.
    Also the doors on the balcony don't close that well.

    Location incredible, couldn't have been better. Balcony looking out on a busy street was great, only trams on it so no noise issues. 2 mins to the cathedral. Huge space for 6 people, separate kitchen, separate dining room and a huge living room. Furnishings & decor a little dated but very clean and had apartment had everything we needed. Usually I don't like dealing with agents but the company in this instance were exceptionally helpful and responsive on Whatsapp and were flexible with our travel arrangements which were somewhat complicated. AC worked great for 43C heatwave.

    What could be improved: Wifi was ok but not great in some parts of the apartment.

    Great location, very spacious and the balcony was a nice addition. Kitchen was handy.

    What could be improved: Hairs and cotton bud left in shower from previous guests, so cleaning not thorough enough. Lack of amenities such as toilet roll, where we ran out and they said more would be provided, however none was provided. Slippers were meant to be provided to us as per the pictures and description, however this does not happen.

    Even more disturbingly, we received a note from a neighbour asking us TO NOT USE OR TALK IN THE LOUNGE OR ON THE TERRACE. We are also asked to not wear any shoes on the hard floors. We are quiet and respectful people and it was extremely uncomfortable to receive notes telling you to limit the enjoyment of your stay. Clearly soundproofing is an issue, as the neighbour mentioned that this is a recurring issue for them when trying to sleep early for work the next day. Suggest the owners of the property work with the neighbour to help find a soundproofing solution.

    Fabulous location and very spacious apartment. Great that the main bedroom was at the back, so not affected by street noise, even though we were very central. Double-glazing very effective too. Patio doors and balcony on the lounge enabled us to feel connected to the city even when we were in the apartment.

    What could be improved: La insonoridad, se oye hablar a los vecinos, hay un poco de ruido en las horas de descanso.
    Algunas cosas estaban rotas: la tapa del water, la mesa del comedor se movia mucho y parecia que se te iba a caer encima.

    What could be improved: Salon y un cuarto muy ruidosos y un cuarto no se calentaba con el aire.
    Por otro lado no me parece de recibo que encarguen al inquilino ir a tirar la basura a 4/5 mins caminando del apartamento y más cuando se cobra una limpieza final.
