Hotel Description

Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and Zaragoza 66 honestly surprised me in the best way possible. You know how sometimes you book a place and you’re just hoping it’s decent? Well, this actually exceeded what I was expecting. The building itself has this gorgeous historic facade that fits right into the old town vibe – I mean, you’re literally on Calle Zaragoza, which is one of those narrow cobblestone streets that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to blend the old with the new without making it feel forced. The rooms have these beautiful high ceilings (honestly, you don’t realize how much you miss that until you’re back in a regular hotel), and the decor strikes this perfect balance between modern comfort and respecting the building’s character. The beds are actually comfortable too – not those rock-hard European mattresses you sometimes get stuck with. I stayed there during Holy Week, which is basically chaos in Seville, and despite being right in the thick of things, the rooms were surprisingly quiet at night. The windows do a good job of keeping out the street noise, though you’ll still hear the occasional late-night revelers – but honestly, that’s just part of the Seville experience.

Here’s the thing that really matters though – the location is incredible without being touristy-chaotic. You’re a five-minute walk from the Cathedral (seriously, you can see the Giralda from some of the upper floors), but you’re not dealing with the constant crowds that hit the main squares. There’s this little tapas place called Bar Eslava just around the corner that locals actually go to, and you’ve got easy access to the Alameda area when you want to bar hop. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood too – they pointed me toward this tiny ceramics shop on Calle Sierpes that I never would have found otherwise. Parking is… well, it’s the old town, so forget about driving here. But the tram stop at Plaza Nueva is like a seven-minute walk, and you can catch the airport bus from there pretty easily. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises with the bill, and they actually helped me store my luggage after checkout so I could wander around before my evening flight. It’s one of those places that just works, you know? Not flashy, not trying too hard, but they’ve got the details right and you end up having a better time than you planned.

  • Brian from United States – 22 May 2025 (9/10)

Very quiet, bigger than expected especially closets, nicely decorated, loved the terrace and central location.

What could be improved: Elevator and hall lighting were a little challenging to operate. Eventually figured out. More instructions would have been helpful.

  • Eveline from Netherlands – 29 April 2025 (9/10)

Spacious, clean apartment in excellent location. Comfortable beds, great terrace and overall well-equipped.
Please note the stairs in the building and inside the appartment in case of walking difficulties.

What could be improved: More towels would have been nice.

  • Simon from United Kingdom – 1 April 2025 (9/10)

Location was great. Facilities very good. Online WhatsApp interaction was fast. Lovely lovely apartment on ground floor. If I stay again, will probably choose upper floors as they have more light and more windows. Kitchen had everything I needed.

What could be improved: All good

  • Pranav from Hong Kong – 4 June 2025 (8/10)

A great house in a great location close to the cathedral and all the major sights including the bullring and the riverside. It was easy to access and in a safe neighbourhood. The kitchen was perfect for us to do some of our own cooking for a few meals. There are two Carrefour supermarkets also close by. To get to Santa Justa, taxi is faster but can also take the tram and a metro ride.

  • Navaid from United Kingdom – 5 May 2025 (4/10)

    Location was good

What could be improved: I looked at the pictures of the balcony, the 2 double beds, the fresh air daylight through the big windows, etc. And paid a premium accordingly.
What I ended up with was a downstairs flat with one double and a sofa bed with a small window and a damp smelling bathroom.
The double bed were two small beds put together, which kept sliding apart.
I was told that I booked the smaller ground floor flat when I booked thinking I would have the top floor as per the photos…so please be careful when making the booking so you don't make the same mistake.

All my communication with them was based on the top floor, which they even confirmed with me, but later retracted their comments suggesting it was their mistake.

  • Fanny from Ecuador – 21 April 2025 (2/10)

    The location

What could be improved: Presence of big crockcoach, humidity, dirty soap dispenser, noise from the upper floor. Plus poor distribution of rooms. Apartment rooms are displayed as if it were a tunnel (living-dinning, kitchen, dormitory, bathroom connected by corridor, thus lacking sufficient natural lighting
