Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked up to the Zaragoza Suite Apartment, I wasn’t expecting much from the narrow cobblestone street – but that’s Old Town Seville for you, hiding gems behind every weathered door. The building itself has that perfect balance of historic charm without feeling like you’re sleeping in a museum, you know? What really got me was stepping inside and realizing these aren’t just hotel rooms with a kitchenette thrown in – they’re actual apartments that happen to be ridiculously well-designed. The space feels generous (a miracle in the old quarter), and whoever did the renovations actually understood how people live, not just how they pose for Instagram photos.
The location is honestly unbeatable if you want to experience real Seville. You’re literally steps from Plaza del Salvador – I mean, you can hear the evening buzz from the tapas bars drifting up through the windows, but it’s not so close that drunk tourists are keeping you awake at 2 AM. I spent most mornings walking five minutes to get coffee and pastries near the cathedral, then coming back to actually enjoy them at the apartment’s little table instead of juggling everything while dodging tour groups. The building sits right in that sweet spot where you feel like a temporary local rather than a visitor – there’s a tiny grocery store around the corner that the owner’s grandmother probably ran, and the narrow streets mean you quickly learn the rhythm of when delivery trucks rumble through (hint: not early morning, thankfully).
What I really appreciated was how thoughtfully everything worked. The Wi-Fi was actually fast enough for video calls – crucial when you’re trying to extend a work trip – and the kitchen had proper dishes, not those flimsy hotel plates that feel like they’ll shatter if you look at them wrong. The air conditioning was quiet and effective, which trust me, matters a lot during Seville summers. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too; none of that awkward dance where you’re standing in a tiny lobby with your luggage wondering if you’re in the right place. I will say, if you’re traveling with huge suitcases, heads up that the entrance involves some maneuvering through narrow doorways – it’s part of the old building charm, but worth knowing ahead of time. The whole experience just felt… comfortable, I guess? Like staying at a well-organized friend’s place rather than camping out in a sterile hotel room. For anyone wanting to actually experience living in Seville’s historic heart without sacrificing modern conveniences, this place nails it.

We were very pleased with the apartment and the location! Was roomy and nicely furnished and clean. We were allowed to drop our luggage early, which was a huge bonus. Definitely recommend.

Excellent location
What could be improved: Getting through the main gate isn't straightforward as you can't tell which button to press, fortunately a family let us in.
Difficult to wash up as the water drains straight out even with the plug inFrances from Philippines – 29 October 2024 (8/10)
I like how spacious, clean, and well equipped the apartment is. The location is very convenient. It is within walking distance to attractions. Customer service was also very easy to get in touch with.
What could be improved: Everything is good. But just sometimes at night you can hear the sound from the street.Phuong from United States – 25 October 2024 (9/10)
The location of the apartment was perfect in that we could walk to most attactions, despite the road construction. Our taxi pick up was a short walk away (about less than 1 min walk) because of the road construction. The apartment itself was comfortable, though it would have been nice to have an extra blanket available for guetst to use. The apartment only has a washer, but not a dryer.
What could be improved: We did not receive the instructions to retrieve the key until a few hours prior to checking in which was very stressful. We followed the instructions provided by the management by uploading our passport information in the system twice, but the managment did not receive it,. We did not know that the management had not received all the information needed as no one communicated to us about the missing information. We contacted the management on the day of arrival and resent the passport information by e-mail. It was only then that we received the check in information. There must be a backup method to receive the checkin information instead of soley relying on uploading the passport information in the system, which did not work for us. Also, there were no instructions about needing to push a white button on the wall to open the door as you leave the building. Luckily, a clean staff was there when we dropped off the bag and was able to show us. It was also stressful that to get in the building for the first time you would need to have data or wifi. We had limited phone data and did not know how to enter the building as the numbers on the keypad were faded and difficult to read. Luckily, someone was leaving the building and that person let us in. We found the whole checkin process stressful that could have been better managed. The key for the main gate was left in the apartment instead of in a lockbox outside the gate. It would have been much easier to retrieve the key for the main gate in a lock box and provided us with the code for the lock box. That way, we did not have to rely on having to have phone data to open the main gate for the building. Additionally, the wall arts in the apartment were bizzare. They only had picture frames hanging on white walls without any paintings or photos in them.Coutts from Canada – 25 September 2024 (9/10)
The location was perfect, easy walking distance right out the door. The apartment was nice and quiet and the bed was comfy. It had everything we needed for a stay. Bonus Laundry!
