Location & Neighborhood

I mean, you really can’t get more central than this — Alohamundi Céspedes has earned that 9.7 location score for good reason. You’re literally steps away from the Cathedral and Alcázar, but what I love is that you’re also surrounded by the kind of narrow cobblestone streets where locals actually live and work. There’s a fantastic tapas bar just around the corner that doesn’t even have a sign (locals call it “El Rincón”), and you can walk to the Guadalquivir riverfront in about five minutes. The Plaza de Armas is close enough that you’ll hear the evening bustle, but far enough that you won’t be kept awake by it.

The Rooms

The accommodations here are refreshingly straightforward — no frills, but everything you actually need. My room had these gorgeous high ceilings that kept things cool even during Seville’s notorious summer heat, and the traditional tile floors felt authentic without being uncomfortable. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I was a bit worried about that, honestly), and there’s decent storage space for a few days’ worth of clothes. What really won me over was the attention to cleanliness — everything felt spotless, and the linens smelled like they’d been dried in actual sunshine.

Daily Life

Mornings here have this lovely, unhurried quality. There isn’t a formal breakfast service, but the staff pointed me toward a café two blocks away where locals grab their cortado and tostada — you know, the kind of place where the barista remembers your order after two visits. The building itself is quiet during siesta hours, which means you can actually rest if you need to recharge between sightseeing sessions. I appreciated that the common areas never felt crowded, even though the property isn’t huge.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.1 rating really reflects what this place does well — it delivers an authentic Seville experience without any pretense. Couples especially seem to appreciate the intimate atmosphere and the fact that you can explore the old town on foot, then retreat to somewhere that feels genuinely local. The staff knows the neighborhood inside and out, so you’ll get recommendations that actually matter (like which flamenco shows are worth your time versus which ones are tourist traps).   J'ai aimé l'emplacement central, très proche des centres d'intérêt. L'appartement est impeccable, très propre et très bien agencé. Les 2 chambres sont séparées par la cuisine avec chacune une salle de bain douche avec fenêtre, pas de problème d'insonorité. Les matelas, les oreillers et le linge sont neufs. L'appartement se situe dans un ensemble d'immeubles très agréable avec un jardin privé dans une petite rue tranquille sans voitures.

  The location was good.
  
  What could be improved: The plumbing in one of the bathroom was messed up. When we flushed the toilet, all the sewerage came up in the shower making the shower stink and the bad odor was also flowing to the master bedroom. As a result we could not use the bathroom or the bedroom. The host took 12 hours to acknowledge and to respond and send someone over but this should've been dealt with as an emergency not like a regular maintenance call. I asked for refund back and the host agreed to a very small amount to refund for the inconvenience (1/8 of the amount of total stay).
  
  This type of plumbing issue doesn't just happen. This must've been an issue prior to us checking in and the host must've ignored it, causing us to have a bad experience. I would not recommend staying at a place where host is not upkeeing with the maintenance.

  Ottima la posizione in centro, vicinissima alla cattedrale e Alcázar.
  L’appartamento ha due camere da letto matrimoniali con i bagni in camera ed è un’ottima soluzione per chi viaggia con amici.
  
  What could be improved: Pochi asciugamani a disposizione e poche pastiglie per lavatrice, abbiamo dovuto comprare anche zucchero e caffè.
